Gloves, pipettes, mixing vessels of sorts as Versagel is a mess to work with. Dawn, paper towels, washable towels and alcohol for GMP (What? No mention of Good Manufacturing Practices?), website or sales account setup on a platform. I SO admire your spirit and enthusiasm as that is critical to success in whatever passion someone wants to turn into a business. Please know I'm not knocking you or out to destroy your (or others) dreams as there is room for everybody in every type of field including skincare or lip gloss. I am merely pointing out there is so much more including how to use Versagel (there are different types for different needs). Also, regardless of what niche one wants to work in within skincare GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is critical to the success of one's business. Who would want to see their new business destroyed due to contaminated product? No one, and I feel it's only right I share the items missed. Then there is business registration with your state, city and making sure you can even have a small business based in your home. Some HOAs won't allow it. Also, it is highly advised to have a designated spot to create separate from say your dining room table or kitchen to create products - this helps prevent cross contamination. There are colors that are lip safe and some that are not... My point also being this isn't a business in two or three days without proper planning, research and a bit of education about the ingredients, laws and all the "boring" stuff rather than just creating. It seems like I spend more time on the "boring" stuff than I do actual creating between the cleaning, paperwork documentation, etc. Some of the finest products our country has seen have been built with little money and plenty of vision. Also, people need to realize the money you make the first few years passionate entrepreneurs will reinvest any and all money to add to that initial seed money that started the dream. Once fairly consistent income came in years after I started my business I finally took my first official check for the company to pay back that initial seed money my husband and I used. It was after we were paid back that I finally decided to take a portion of profits as pay. Now, how many years later I feel comfortable hiring a part-time person. Finding someone half as ambitious as me is a challenge though. It seems like everyone wants a paycheck but few want to work and over half that do want to work can't do simple math (which you need if you scale up a formula). You are an amazing young woman with lots of ambition! You go girl! After all, your video is paying YOU on RUclips to be viewed as well. Kudos to you. I wish you and EVERY reader much success and prosperity.
